Cub Winter Campaign

Join the Scout Brigade at its “Winter Quarters”

Dates: 
February 5th – 7th, 2010  
From 7.00 p.m. Friday to 10.30 a.m. on Sunday.

Inside Accommodation:  Sleeping in bunks inside Blockhouse Two at Fort George; Event mess is located at Navy Hall by the river and activities in and around the fort.

Provisions:
All food is provided and will be centrally cooked and served cafeteria style.  A substantial snack will be available on Friday evening and meals will continue through to breakfast on Sunday.

Agenda:

Friday: Arrive, get settled in and then enjoy a snack, a movie, bring board games, card games and enjoy fellowship.
Saturday: enjoy breakfast, a morning training session, a visit to the Fort George gift shop, a themed game, lunch, free time in town, an afternoon themed game and supper. Evening Movie and fellowship. The schedule will be adjusted as necessary to suit the weather.
Sunday: leisurely breakfast, a Scout’s Own and closing. You can be packed up and away by 10.30 a.m.

Fees: All inclusive at $50 per person

Registration: Available “on-line” under Registration, in the same manner as for the September camp. Registration will run to December 15th 2009 on a first come first served basis.

Important Notes:

  1. Due to the facility size and cost, maximum is 120 participants is side the fort and minimum is 110 for each event.  If either event has not reached 110 by the December 15th deadline it will be cancelled.
  2. When the inside spaces are filled, they are filled, and there literally is no more room.  For this reason, once a group has registered we cannot allow cancellations unless there are others on the waiting list prepared to purchase the cancelled spots. Outside camping is not restricted.
