Ant Control in an Organic Way

Ants can be found anywhere. Good news is that they can be dealt with using organic ways.

Baking soda

This can be sprinkled around your plants. Baking soda is poisonous to the ants hence they will stay away from your plants.

Flour or baby powder

It is known that ants do not cross powder. You can use flour to circle your plants and they will not cross over to your plants.

One can mix equal parts of vinegar and water and spray it on the plants. Vinegar contains acid which will kill the ants.

Coffee grounds

Put the coffee grounds near the ant hole. They will eat the grounds and implode. One can also use peppermint, chili powder and they will produce similar results.

Diatomaceous earth

This is a type of organic pesticide. It works by destroying the ant’s skeleton hence it will be dehydrated to death.

Contact paper

The paper is folded into half then put around the base of the plant. Ensure the sticky side is on the outside. The ants will get stuck on the paper.
