Scouting, like the World Wide Web, knows few international boundaries.
And Scouting enthusiasts everywhere are looking to the Internet with
its e-mail, WWW, FTP to trade experiences, build friendships and embrace
the Scouting experience.
We don't intend to
provide links to very many Scouting WWW sites, simply because there
are many other ways to find them. But we do have a few favourites which
we can lead you to.
NOTICE: We can't
vouch for any information on them. For the most part they are individual
efforts by Scouters and interested individuals. Their information may
or may not be based on fact.
The
Unoffical Scouting in Canada site.
Established by Patrick Scholefield in Calgary Alberta, this site is
full of links to other Scouting organizations around the world. On the
site is the Life of B-P., History of Scouting in Canada, an e-mail directory
and a shareware computer database.
Clearly not an official site. But one we enjoy visiting for its sheer
enthusiasm.
Jim
Speirs' Scouting Page
Another favourite of your webmaster, Jim has put together information
from a number of sources that can be used somewhere in the Scouting
program. Some graphic files here for downloading as well as games, songs,
crafts, Scouting history, recipes and a selection of articles from The
Leader magazine. Excellent resource site for Scouters looking for program
ideas.

Baden-Powell's
Home Page
Lewis Orans has put together a very complete and wide ranging collection
of photographs, paintings, along with excerpts from E.E. Reynolds' book,
Baden-Powell, The Story of His Life. There's a wealth
of material here and in the links. A WWW site that every Scouter should
visit.
The
Scout Association of Australia
The thrill of international Scouting on the Internet. There's lots of
activity on this site "down-under".
